The Mission of the Concordia Congregation
Shall be to nurture the Kingdom of God by the preaching of the Word of God, by the administration of the Sacraments, by the religious instruction of youth and adults, and to promote Christian fellowship, charity, and community outreach.
About the Service
When was the last time you were called into worship by the ringing of a church bell? We are – every service, and we warmly invite you to come worship with us and receive the blessings of the Word of God and the sacrament of Holy Communion. Our congregation is small is number, though we are a family united by the love of God and love for one another.
Our service is a Traditional Liturgical Worship service which has two parts: the Service of the Word (Psalms, Three Scripture Readings, Sermon, Prayers, and The Lord’s Prayer) and the Service of the Sacrament (Holy Communion and Thanksgiving). We sing several hymns throughout the service with the accompaniment of an electric organ. Occasionally we have the choir sing or special music during the service. We normally have fellowship time with light refreshments following the service to meet and greet one another, and our guests are always welcome to stay. We invite you to share with us the hope and peace that the Gospel of Jesus Christ alone can bring.
The world is a very fast-paced, multi-tasking, noisy, busy place. Come, to the house of God, where you will find the peace of God, which passeth all understanding (Philippians 4:7; Matthew 11:28-30).
